Mix vaccines against Covid, Ema sources: “We will evaluate the data”

by time news

The European Medicines Agency Ema “will evaluate the available data” on the possibility of mixing anti-Covid vaccines, using different products between the first and second dose. This is what Adnkronos Salute learns from sources of the EU regulatory body after the Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi allegedly requested a ruling from the Authority in this sense. Also according to what is learned, the topic will not be specifically at the center of the press conference on Friday 28 May, in which the EMA will express itself on the use of the Pfizer / BionTech vaccine in the 12-15 age group. But “we will be ready to receive questions”, the sources specify, “and certainly to evaluate data in this regard”.
