This morning is published in “Calcalist” Golan Hazani reports that Shani and his partner Shahar Segal have signed an agreement with hotelier and real estate developer Liran Weizmann, with the intention of opening 150 restaurants in the next 5 years.
Weizmann owns a group called SMB Capital, which operates in the Netherlands and manages more than 120 hotels across Europe. Shani and Segal already operate dozens of restaurants around the world under the name “The Good Company”, including in the US, France and Singapore.

According to a report in Calcalist, the agreement will open restaurants in 48 different cities in Europe, about two-thirds of which will be branches of the buffet – meaning pitas stalls. The remaining third will be in the format of the more luxurious living room. It should be noted that the company owned by Weizmann already has a partnership with Chef Haim Cohen at the governmental restaurant The Duchess in Amsterdam.
