Headquartered in Vienna, Austria, the World Malayalee Federation (WMF), the largest expatriate Malayalee community in the world, has organized its third biennial convention in 162 countries. The online conference was inaugurated by the Minister of Public Works and Tourism, Kerala, Mohammad Riyaz.

The distinguished guests said that the World Malayalee Federation, a world Malayalee organization, would be able to come up with a number of activities and projects in collaboration with the motherland in the areas of tourism and venture during the post-Kovid period.
Global Coordinator Dr. J. Dr. Ratnakumar welcomed the gathering. Prince Pallikunnel presided. Global Secretary Paul Teppala presented the organization’s activity report for the period 2020 and 2021. Global Treasurer Sunil. SS presented the financial report.
The conference also introduced the governing body for the period 2022 and 2023. The global leadership is made up of 56 office bearers from around the world. The new cabinet members are Drs. J. Ratnakumar (Global President – Oman), Paul Theppala (Global Coordinator – Qatar), Harish Nair (Global Secretary – Benin Republic), Nisar Edathummithal (Global Treasurer – Haiti), Regin Chalappuram (India), Sreeja Tomi (India) (Saudi Arabia) and Tom Jacob (Kuwait), Manjusha Sreejith (Qatar) and Matthew Cheriankalail (Austria) as Joint Secretaries and Johnson Thommana (Egypt) as Joint Treasurer. The Global Chairman administered the oath of office to the new cabinet members.
As members of the Board of Directors, Drs. Prince Pallikunnel (Global Chairman – Austria), Sunil S. The. (Kuwait), Noushad Aluva (Saudi Arabia), Zina Shanavas (India), Donnie George (Germany) and the new Board of Advisors, various forum coordinators, executive committee members and regional coordinators & presidents.
Santosh George Kulangara has released the sixth edition of Vishwakairali, the front page of the organization. Film playback singers Pradeep Babu and Sumi Aravind performed at the music party. Nisha Yusuf from Dubai was the presenter. Global Joint Secretary Harish Nair thanked the audience.
