Madrid has the average price of the most expensive subsidized housing in Spain with 1,433 euros/m2, and it is among the regions where there is a greater difference between the price of free housing and the VPO. Málaga, the Balearic Islands, Barcelona, Madrid, Vizcaya and Guipúzcoa have an appraisal value per m2 of free housing that exceeds protected housing by more than 1,000 euros/m2.
