(Reuters) – The dollar fell slightly against the real this Monday, following external movements amid hopes that the Federal Reserve has already ended its cycle of interest rate hikes.
At 9:08 (Brasília time), the dollar in cash fell 0.07%, to 4.8937 reais on sale.
On B3, at 9:08 am (Brasília time), the first-month dollar futures contract fell 0.12%, to 4.9095 reais.
In the last session, on Friday, the dollar in cash closed the day at 4.8972 reais on sale, down 1.53%.
In this session, the Central Bank will auction up to 16 thousand traditional currency swap contracts for the purpose of rolling over the maturity date of January 2, 2023.
