New Zealand media revealed that the family of Ian Foster, now ex-All Blacks coach and replaced by Scott Robertson, was attacked in early September. His wife and daughter, who were staying in the New Zealand team hotel in Créteil, were threatened with a knife by an individual shortly before the opening match of the World Cup against the French XV ( 27-13).
New Zealand media 1news explained that Leigh (the mother) and Michaela Foster (the daughter) were not hit but they were greatly shocked by the scene.
