In the audio samples given by Balachandrakumar, Dileep says that a woman should actually be punished in the case and that he is trapped. Earlier, there were allegations that a woman was involved in the case. Pulsar Suni, the first accused in the case, had also revealed this. Despite the controversy surrounding the role of women, Pulsar Suni later denied any involvement in the case. With this, no inquiry was held in this regard.
Liberty Bashir said that the probe team had reached Madam earlier but an MP from the ruling party had intervened and requested the government to remove the madam. Liberty Basheer said that they were dropped from the case due to the intervention of the MP. “I will not name the lady,” said Liberty Bashir.
