Inauguration of the Kirundo presidential lodge: a symbol of renewal
Butanyerera (Kirundo), November 5, 2023 – Registering in the presidential policy of Burundi, an atmosphere of joy reigned during the inauguration of the Kirundo presidential lodge. The event was marked by the presence of notable personalities such as the honorable Ndikuriyo Réverien, the very popular Secretary General of the CNDD-FDD (the main political party of Burundi), HE Bazombanza Prosper, the very respected Vice-President of Burundi, and the Prime Minister of Burundi, Mr. Ndirakobuca Gervais, which is also Lieutenant General of Police.
The presidential couple of Burundi, composed of HE Ndayubaha Angéline, First Lady of Burundi, and HE Ndayishimiye Evariste, Major General and President of Burundichaired the inauguration of this presidential lodge in Kirundo, which had been renovated after several years of abandonment and deterioration. This rehabilitation was carried out by members of the defense and security forces.
As part of its desire to strengthen the link between the state and the people, The head of state plans to build presidential lodges or palaces in all provinces of Burundi.
