A subject attacked the home of a lawyer who sponsors his councilor brother and another person, who in recent months denounced acts of corruption in the administration of the mayor of Ferreñafe, Polansky Carmona.
At 4:40 in the morning of last Saturday, the criminal arrived at the home located on Prolongación Sucre Street No. 181, in the aforementioned town, owned by lawyer Gilberto Carrasco Lucero.
The criminal approached stealthily and threw a stone at the window on the second level of the house, causing the glass to break.
Seconds before, he left a paper under the door of the property with the phrase: “Stop screwing around, next time it won’t be the moon” and other threats, signing in the end as the Venezuelan criminal network “El Tren de Aragua.”
Fortunately, at that time, there was no one in the room. Faced with the noise, the lawyer and his family immediately went out into the street and, with the support of neighbors, pursued the criminal until they were able to catch him through a citizen’s arrest.
They then called the Police and handed over the suspect of this act of extortion, intimidation and coercion.
The detainee was identified as Brayan Emanuel Zea Maza and had a current charge for crime against property.
“I consider that it comes from someone who feels affected by the complaints of acts of corruption that I have made regarding the management of the mayor of Ferreñafe, Polanski Carmona. Only he could feel affected by pointing that out in the message received. There is no other logic, I have no enemies to act this way. All this has started since Friday, since two of the complainants have also gone through this situation, one was beaten on a public road and another had the windshield of his vehicle broken, also to desist from their accusations against the alleged irregularities in the commune,” said Carrasco Lucero.
