This Thursday morning, a group of people working on the banks of the Bogotá River spotted the body of a minor in the waters of the tributary, near the municipality of Funza, in Cundinamarca.

Authorities are verifying the identity of the minor, who apparently would be a 5-year-old autistic boy who this week was reported missing by his family in the town of Suba, north of the capital.

The child reported missing is Yenrri Josués Cabrales Reyes, who was lost last Sunday, November 5, after a visit with his parents to a relative who lives in the Santa Rita neighborhood of Suba. Apparently, the boy’s parents did not realize the moment he left that house and since that moment, they have no information about his whereabouts.

The boy, who is non-verbal and has difficulties communicating, was wearing a red shirt, shorts and blue shoes (Crocs type) at the time of his disappearance.

The body found in the Bogotá River was dressed in a red shirt, shorts and blue shoes, just as Yenrri was dressed on the day of his disappearance. This is the first clue why they believe that the body found corresponds to that of a lost child.

When Yenrri Cabrales disappeared on November 5, the residents of the area searched every corner of the area, even searching the bodies of water, and although everyone reacted quickly to look for him, there was no sign of the child, until what appears to be his discovery. this Thursday.

So far the authorities have not confirmed that the body of the child in the river corresponds to that of Yenrri Cabrales.
