UPCN San Juan Vóley began the Argentine Volleyball League with a victory, by winning over Defensores de Banfield in a match corresponding to Tour 1. At the Roberto Pando stadium, in San Lorenzo, the San Juan players won 3 to 0, with partial scores of 25- 22, 25-18 and 25-22. The top scorer of the match was Los Cóndores’ opposite number, Brandon Rattray, with 24 points.

UPCN will now have a free day and will play again this Saturday against San Lorenzo, starting at 9 p.m. (TyC Sports Play).

The nine-time Argentine champion dominated the game against “Defe”, who despite some passages in the first and third quarters, could not avoid the San Juan advance.

UPCN and Defensores de Banfield had an initial stretch in which they went point to point, but in the definition zone the San Juan people took advantage and Flavio Rajczakowski closed it with a first half: 25-22.

In the second round, Los Cóndores took an initial lead of 5 points and in what was a monologue they continued until the end to win 25-18, after a diagonal from Rattray.

And although the third chapter showed more parity, those led by Fabián Armoa were more effective and won 25-22, with Rattray intractable and the closing point by striker Juan Villarruel.
