From November 15 in large and also in smaller stores, the initiative of the Ministry of Economy will begin “Available to you”. In the commercial establishments that are included in it, the prices of 16 out of a total of 50 products selected by the Ministry of Economy will be reduced every week – vegetables, fruits, proteins. Cheaper items will have the “Available to You” logo. This was announced this morning to BTV by the Economy Minister Bogdan Bogdanov. All food chains participate in the initiative. In the second stage, non-food and medicinal products are expected to enter it.
The ministry will conduct an analysis every week, and its website will allow users to select a specific product and see how it is offered across the country.
Bogdan Bogdanov also commented on the derogation for the import of Russian oil to the Bulgarian Lukoil refinery. According to him, there is already a plan to switch to non-Russian oil.
The Minister of Economy was categorical that the prices of gasoline and diesel in Bulgaria are the lowest, compared to EU countries.
