The Guatemalan Red Cross reported that six people were injured in a traffic accident this Saturday, November 11 in El Palmar, Quetzaltenango.
The accident occurred at kilometer 195 of the Cito-180 route, where a minibus and four cars collided.
First responders stabilized the six injured and transferred them to different hospitals.
People suffered trauma to different parts of the body.
Mobility is affected in the place, since the vehicles were left on the asphalt strip.
The vehicles involved were severely damaged and the causes of the accident are unknown.
In another incident, the Departmental Municipal Firefighters reported that two people were injured when they were run over at kilometer 207 of the route to the Pacific. Both were transferred to the Coatepeque Regional Hospital.
