Ungerbauer Family Cellar, Bodor Bio Borház, Áron Losonczi Family Winery, Róbert Klein, Ferenc Kelemen, Bodor Martin Family Winery, Pusztai Cellar and Sándorné László-Kókai tasted their wines from this year and last year.

Unfortunately, this year’s new wine muster took place without two renowned winemakers, the deceased Ferenc Gulyás and György Ungerbauer.

Anikó Ungerbauer brought four vintages of this year – Riesling from Rhineland, Riesling from Zöldveltelin, Gräybarat and Kékfrankos – as well as 10 batches of last year’s wine to taste. As he told our paper, it was difficult to preserve the acids in the wines during last year’s drought.

This year, we did not rush clarifications, we let the natural processes prevail a little, the natural flavors emerge, the aromas and scents are very nice. By December 6, the wines will be on top. Personally, it was a very difficult year because we did the entire harvest without my father, but we will continue his 55 years dedicated to the profession

We learned from Bodor Martin that they brought those of their current new wines that are ready to be shown. Among them, the generosa, which can be said to be a novelty at the national level, was introduced by the young winemaker in 2019, and since then consumers have started looking for it.

To be honest, we prepared for the muster in a bit of a hurry, because although we have already harvested, but the preparation of new wines involves many tasks, we are in the season of the first milkings, the introduction of the new wine to the market is also an important task, but we were really looking forward to St. Martin’s Day, where the work of the past year we can present to consumers
