Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Young Man and Woman in Nynäshamn
On February 24, a tragic accident took the lives of 25-year-old Truls Kruslock and a 49-year-old woman north of Nynäshamn. Truls was in the passenger seat when the driver overtook a solid line and collided head-on with an oncoming car. Both Truls and the woman tragically lost their lives in the accident.
The news of Truls’ passing came as a shock to his family, as he had not answered the phone earlier in the evening. When the police arrived at their door with the death warrant, their lives were turned upside down.
Truls’ parents have decided to share his story with the public, describing him as “the world’s kindest” and sharing his love for music and sports. Truls was a big fan of artists such as Nirvana, Cornelis Vreeswijk, and Jakob Hellman, and often accompanied his father to Hammarby matches.
Despite the immense grief they are experiencing, Truls’ parents have chosen to not harbor anger towards the friend who was driving at the time of the accident.
The family has also shared how they cope with their loss, saying that they have placed a tombstone for Truls and that his father often visits the grave to speak to his son. They have found support in their friends and hope that by sharing their story, they may be able to help others who have gone through a similar tragedy.
In the midst of their grief, they share a message of hope, saying, “You have to take one day at a time, one step after the other, you can’t do much else. And even if it’s pitch black at the beginning, it brightens a little after all, even though you don’t think it’s possible from the start,” says father Jonas Larsson to Hela Gotland.
