LIDICOM: Pauline Yaméogo/Kaboré wants to build her mandate on training and sharing experiences

Ouagadougou, November 10, 2023 (AIB) – The new president of the League of directors, advisors, communication and marketing officers (LIDICOM), Pauline Kaboré married Yaméogo indicated on Friday that she will build her mandate on training and sharing of experiences, in order to promote excellence in the management of communication by public and private institutions.

“We want to build our mandate on training and sharing experiences. We also want the League of Directors, Advisors, Communication and Marketing Officers (LIDICOM) to take off,” said the new president of the association, Pauline Kaboré and Yaméogo.

Ms. Yaméogo also recognized the work done by the outgoing office to bring LIDICOM to its foundations in a context of difficult security and humanitarian crisis in the country.

The new boss of the association spoke yesterday Friday in Ouagadougou, during an official installation ceremony of the office of the said association with 10 members, under the presidency of the Minister in charge of Communication, Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo.

Listening to Pauline Yaméogo, it is up to the incoming office to continue the work and strengthen the bases of LIDICOM for its institutional anchoring.

“In this sense, we will work institutionally so that LIDICOM is better known and so that it can count among the professional communication organizations in Burkina Faso,” she maintained.

The president of LIDICOM indicated that her structure will work to help government communication in this context of difficult security crisis in Burkina Faso.

To hear him say, good communication brings together the sons and daughters of the country and his association intends to make its contribution so that the Burkinabè talk to each other and look in the same direction.

As grievances, Pauline Kaboré, wife of Yaméogo, wished at the end of her mandate to have, among other things, a communications center, the inclusion of a budget line at the ministry level for the training of communicators.

To this end, the Minister of Communication, Jean Emmanuel said he took note of the concerns and promised to examine them with a view to providing solutions.

Mr. Ouédraogo praised the approach of communicators who participate in the development of the nation and reflected the availability of his department and the government to support them in achieving the expected results.

Created in 2018, LIDICOM is an apolitical association which advocates excellence in the management of communication for the development of Burkina Faso.
