Francesco Oggiano, the activist Pegah Moshir Pour, Sandro Tommasi and the brothers Marco and Andrea Spinelli are some of the guests who will animate ‘Reaction’, the first Festival of Good News in Italy, a unique event of its kind organized by Visionary Bergamo, which is enriched by important names from the world of journalism and social media. First interventions on 2 December (from 5pm to midnight) at Gres Art 671 (via San Bernardino 141), the new cultural center of the City of the Thousand. Ten exceptional guests will enliven the evening-event with their inspirational speeches. At the end of each speech, the public will have the opportunity to interact by asking questions or sending reactions or comments thanks to the event web-app.

The names of the guests therefore include Francesco Oggiano (Will Media) and Alessandro Tommasi (founder of Will Media and Nos). Both are among the most followed journalists on social media, where they report and explain current events to tens of thousands of followers every day. Also expected is Pegah Moshir Pour, an Italian-Iranian human and digital rights activist who has kept the spotlight on the rebellion of Iranian women against the theocratic regime in Tehran for more than a year. She will be one of the protagonists of the Festival delle Buone Notizie after having brought her story to the stage of the Sanremo Festival together with Drusilla Foer.

Online Psychologists, one of the reference Instagram pages on mental health, with more than 54 thousand followers, will also be among the protagonists of ‘Reaction’. The theme of the environment will instead be at the center of the speech by brothers Marco and Andrea Spinelli. The first photographer and documentary maker, the second marine biologist, together they created the documentary ‘Missione Euridice’ in 2021 on the recovery of a ton of abandoned nets in the Gulf of Cefalù and still continue in their work of raising environmental awareness.

Among the excellent presences is also that of Marta Perego, journalist, popularizer, author, TV presenter, with her experience in the world of publishing, who will guide the participants on a journey through books and cinema. From Sky News, of which he is Europe Producer, will come Simone Baglivo, winner of the 2021 International Emmy Award and named Standard Bearer of the Republic in 2018, he has produced reports such as ‘How to fight the mafia’ on the fight against the Ndrangheta. The event will be hosted by Marco Carrara, journalist, author and TV presenter. Since 2017 he has hosted ‘Timeline’ and takes care of the Agorà social station on Rai 3. In 2021 and 2022 he has already hosted Visionary Bergamo and Visionary Days, events created by the local Visionary hub.
