Huachiew Hospital Raises Awareness on World Diabetes Day 2023
In observance of World Diabetes Day 2023, the Diabetes and Endocrine Center at Huachiew Hospital organized a series of activities aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of diabetes. The event, chaired by Dr. Monnapa Khunnarong, Deputy Medical Director, highlighted the prevalence of diabetes in Thailand, with a growing number of patients across all age groups.
The event featured a special discussion on diabetes, titled “Know your risk, know your response,” led by Dr. Pongsan Leesamphan and Dr. Phattharawan Komutbutr, internists specializing in endocrine diseases and metabolism. The discussion provided valuable insights on how to take care of oneself to combat diabetes, with a focus on a multidisciplinary approach to impart knowledge to attendees.
