Telegram founder Pavel Durov announced the messenger interface in augmented reality from Apple. It is used in the company’s Vision Pro augmented reality headset.
Mr. Durov published in his Telegram channel video of the interface with the caption “Telegram for VisionOS”. The interface is the same as that of the messenger in its desktop version, but the panel for going to the settings sections is located separately on the left. Media files can be opened to the full width of the screen.
In June, Apple introduced Vision Pro, the brand’s first augmented reality headset. It will go on sale in early 2024 at a price starting from $3.5 thousand. In Russia, orders for this headset began to be accepted in the same month. In July, the Financial Times reported that Vision Pro turned out to be too technologically advanced and difficult to manufacture, which is why Apple significantly reduced its production target. According to Bloomberg, the headset will be made according to the user’s individual measurements.
