For this reason, the reaction to the crises that arise anywhere on the planet, by the different subregions and States that make it up, is relevant and can be read both internally and in terms of external relations. Thus, the different positions regarding the Hamas attacks of October 7 and the subsequent Israeli reaction have shown two paths in this regard for the Indo-Pacific countries: condemnation of one or the other side in dispute or attempting a difficult balance in the face of polarization. current.
