Although it has only been taking place for a few years, the “Flower Festival” that takes place in Antigua Guatemala has become one of the most iconic and emblematic activities of contemporary times in the colonial city.
This year, as has been customary since its first edition in 2017, the “Flower Festival” will take place in this month of November with the aim of highlighting the beauty of our land.
How is it. The Flower Festival this 2023 will be this Saturday, November 18 and Sunday, November 19 and the motto of the edition is “Guatemala: Country of Eternal Spring.” Admission is free.
More details. According to the organizers, the name of the theme arises with the objective of returning to the original idea of why the event arose and on the other hand it is intended to highlight the richness of Guatemala’s roots.
What to expect. As part of the activity, the main streets and avenues of Antigua Guatemala will be decorated with different types of flowers, in addition there will be a flower arrangement contest, there will be concerts and artistic presentations, as well as workshops and a flower market will be set up.
