Fifteen-Year-Old Girl Hit by Car in Gothenburg
A fifteen-year-old girl was hit by a car on Wednesday evening in Skällborg, Gothenburg. The police received the alarm at 19:33 and rushed to the scene of the accident, which occurred on Akkas gata.
Details about the extent of the girl’s injuries are still unclear, but she was conscious and able to speak when the ambulance transported her to the hospital. It is reported that the girl had climbed onto the car’s windshield during the accident.
“We are now working at the scene interviewing witnesses and the driver of the car to form an idea of what happened,” said Jens Andersson, press spokesperson for the police region west.
At 21:00 on Wednesday evening, the police announced on their website that a report of negligence in traffic has been drawn up and that the driver, a man in his 70s, is a suspect in the case.
