The rear window of former State Attorney Shai Nitzan’s car was smashed tonight by unknown individuals who fled the scene. The Jerusalem police have opened an investigation.
In the evening, the Jerusalem District Police received a report that the windshield of Shai Nitzan, the former State Attorney, had been smashed. Police forces who arrived at his home noticed the shattered rear window. A forensic team arrived at the scene in order to collect findings. An investigation has been opened, there are currently no suspects. It should be noted that Nitzan did not receive any threats.
About two months ago, Nitzan was appointed rector of the National Library, following the recommendation of a special locating committee appointed by the National Library’s board. As part of his role he manages the entire content worlds of the library.
