They were met at the airport by doctors, representatives of the Red Cross and relatives. Among the arrivals are mainly large families.

On the night of November 16, a Belavia plane carrying Belarusians evacuated from the Gaza Strip landed in Minsk, BELTA reports. 43 people who were removed from the conflict territory on November 15 returned to Belarus.

They were met at the airport by doctors and representatives of the Red Cross. Local authorities did not stand aside either. All evacuees were offered medical assistance, food packages, hygiene items, etc.

Among the returning Belarusians there are large families who needed help with housing and travel from Minsk to the regions of Belarus. One of them needed to spend the night in Minsk – the Minsk City Executive Committee took it upon itself and promised to accommodate the parents and four children in a hotel.

A family of 14 people was accepted by the Volozhin Social Service Center, where there are conditions for temporary residence.

Two families went to their small homeland – to the Volkovysk region. A bus was sent specially for them, said Olga Sedelnik, a representative of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee.

They were provided with temporary housing. Depending on the families’ plans, local authorities are ready to offer adults work, and children, if they know Russian, education at school.
