The board of directors of OpenAI, which launched the famous generative artificial intelligence platform, announced the departure with immediate effect of Sam Altman. Aged 38, this young American who had the ear of major leaders, and was able to explode the notoriety of OpenAI, founded in 2015, thanks to ChatGPT, launched in 2022. Dozens of capitals visited, interviews with heads of state and government of Europe, Asia and the Middle East, speeches in major universities… For a few, one could believe that Sam Altman, 38 years old, was at the head of a great power or of an international institution.
