Suspended three meters from the ground, a Parisian bookseller’s old bookstand sways gently, lifted from the parapet on the bank of the River Seine by a large crane. On the night of this Friday (17), Paris city hall promoted a first test to dismantle four of these boxes, emblematic of the French capital, in preparation for what should be done on a larger scale before the 2024 Olympic Games.
