**Pokemon Go Players Await Long-Awaited UI Feature Surrounding CP System**

Pokemon Go fans are eagerly awaiting the debut of a helpful UI feature surrounding the game’s CP system. While the mobile game draws inspiration from the mainline series of games, it has its own spin on mechanics, including the CP, or Company Power, system. This system uses a number value to convey a Pokemon’s strength based on various factors such as IVs, overall level, and stats.

The potential UI update in question would make it easier for players to see a Pokemon’s overall progress. A recent post on TheSilphRoad subreddit sparked a discussion among the community, with one user highlighting the need for a “segmented power-up bar” to be added to the game. The proposal suggests dividing the semicircular power-up bar into 10 segments, similar to the technique used for IVs years ago.

The user explained, “We know that Niantic / Pokemon Co. don’t want to show a Pokemon’s level as a number. However, they could use the same technique that they reluctantly used for IVs, years ago, i.e. they could divide up the semicircular power-up bar into 10 segments.”

Support for this potential change was evident, with many fans agreeing that some form of level indication would be very helpful. One trainer commented, “Not that I disagree, I think a simply visible level would be much better.” Another fan speculated that the feature may be trickier to implement due to the variability of a Pokemon’s “percent to ‘max’ level” depending on the trainer’s level.

Overall, the implementation of this UI feature would provide players with a clearer understanding of their Pokemon’s progress and overall strength in the game. With the community rallying behind this potential change, players remain hopeful that the long-awaited update will make its debut in the near future.
