DIG/ In 2022, forestry activity recorded positive results.

Production increased by 22.6% to 4,341,389 m3.

This improvement, supported mainly by the production of Okoumé, is explained by the exploitation of new forest areas in a context of lifting government measures to combat Covid-19.

At the same time, deliveries of logs to local industries increased from 2,107,771 m3 to 2,634,714 m3, an increase of 25.0%.

This development is linked to the slowdown in the order book, mainly those from industries located in the Nkok economic zone.
