The official answer sheets for the Fuvest 2024 tests are now available
The test for the first phase of Fuvest’s 2024 entrance exam was held last Sunday (19), with the participation of 110,399 people, including 99,573 candidates and 10,826 trainees who dream of a place at the University of São Paulo (USP). The official answer sheet was released on Sunday night.
According to the assessment of Sérgio Paganim, director of the Anglo Course, the test had “a scope quite compatible with those of previous years, covering all the classic subjects of High School” and maintained the usual level of difficulty. As new features, he cites “the inclusion of art questions, little consideration in the chemistry bill, or even a somewhat easier physics test”.
Sérgio also assesses that the test fulfilled its function of selecting candidates capable of moving on to the second selection phase, and highlights the importance of having a good ability to interpret text to obtain a good result.
“In Portuguese, the text was fundamental in the interdisciplinary relationship. The texts were on the border between text understanding and geography, text understanding and sociology, text understanding and philosophy. These were not questions of Philosophy and Sociology, they were questions of understanding the text. In literature, the test was easier than normal, also because it invests a lot in the plot of the mandatory reading texts.”
Finally, Sérgio pointed out that the questions of history, physics and biology were the most difficult, “either because of texts that were either longer or more dense, which somewhat complicated the scenario in these disciplines, which are not traditionally texts ”.
