With two races remaining, the fight for the title rages on in MotoGP. As the Qatar Grand Prix, scheduled for this Sunday, November 19, looms, Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin are still fighting for first place. Title holder, the first named has won six races this season and has 412 points, 14 more than his Spanish runner-up, who for his part has raised his arms four times in 2023.
The two Ducati riders now have only two meetings left to decide between them: Qatar, then the Valencia GP, on November 26. The two men already launched hostilities last week in Malaysia. If it was Enea Bastianini who won in Asia, Bagnaia and Martin went blow for blow on the Sepang circuit, the outgoing champion gaining three points from his rival after the Spaniard scraped two points from him at the occasion of the sprint.
On the French side, Johann Zarco, winner almost a month ago in Australia, will try to keep his place in the top 5. Main host of the Malaysian GP, Fabio Quartararo, 5th last week and 9th in the general classification , is still running behind his first success of the season.

This Friday, the qualifying practices produced an astonishing result since they were dominated by Raul Fernandez (RNF Aprilia) and Fabio Di Giannantonio. The two title contenders for their part finished 7th and 8th, earning a ticket to Q2 in pain, while Zarco and Quartararo had to go through the repechage.
The Qatar Grand Prix is scheduled from 6 p.m. French time this Sunday, November 19, and the race will be broadcast on Canal +.
