The decision to cast Hoult comes after months of auditions and screen tests, with the studio wanting to go through the casting process after the SAG-AFTRA strike. Hoult is no stranger to Warner Bros., having previously starred in the blockbuster “Mad Max Fury Road,” and is also set to appear in Clint Eastwood’s “Juror No. 2.”
