The Rolling Stones just can’t help it. After the success of their new album “Hackney Diamonds”, the rock’n’roll veterans have one for next year another tour announced. From April to July, Mick Jagger (80), Keith Richards (79) and Ronnie Wood (76) want to play a total of 16 concerts in North America. The tour starts on April 28th in Houston, Texas. The last concert for now is scheduled to take place on June 17th in Santa Clara, California. Tour dates for Europe were not initially announced.

On the occasion of the release of “Hackney Diamonds”, which reached number one in the album charts in Great Britain, Germany and numerous other countries, Jagger had already hinted at the plans in October. “We hope to go on tour,” said the restless Stones frontman in an interview with the German Press Agency. “And I hope we’ll play some of the new songs.”

In addition to new songs like “Angry” or “Mess It Up”, popular classics like “Start Me Up”, “Gimme Shelter”, “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” and “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” would also be available The Rolling Stones promised in a statement about the “Hackney Diamonds” tour on their official website that there won’t be any shows next year.

In October, the Stones performed at the New York club “Racket NYC” in front of invited guests. They completed their last tour to date in the summer of 2022 on the occasion of the band’s 60th anniversary. As part of the “Sixty Tour”, the legendary rock band played 14 concerts in Europe, including three in Germany.
