San Salvador. This Thursday, the Supreme Electoral Tribunal began training sessions for 600 electoral facilitators and 29 coordinators, who, in turn, must train the 88,810 members of the Vote Receiving Boards (JRV).

It has started with personnel from Ahuachapán, Santa Ana, Cuscatlán, San Vicente and Cabañas; Amílcar Claros, Director of Training and Civic Education, explained the role that facilitators must play in the electoral process.

This temporary staff is trained on the integration and functions of the JRVs, voting administration and use of technology for preliminary counting of votes at the polling station; They also learned about the responsibilities of the presidency, secretary, first member, second member and third member of the JRV. The presidency, for example, loudly announces that voting begins.

The facilitators heard about the special considerations that the JRVs must carry out on election day. One of the points refers to the number of ballots that must be delivered to each citizen, for example.
