Mossad Head and Israeli Delegation Land in Qatar to Finalize Hostage Release Deal

Dedi Barnea, the head of Mossad, and Nitzan Alon, the person in charge of the abductees issue, recently landed in Qatar to finalize the details of a deal for the release of dozens of hostages held in Gaza. The commencement of the release is scheduled for tomorrow morning.

This kidnapping deal will include children up to the age of 19 and every woman who has been held hostage and is not a soldier. The agreement, approved by the Israeli government, includes three guarantees – Qatar and Egypt are standing against Hamas and the United States is supporting Israel.

According to a senior Israeli source, Israel expects the release of up to 80 hostages through this deal. It is known that between 75 and 80 hostages are currently being held by Hamas. Women and children have been abducted to Gaza, and the agreement sets out the conditions for their release as well as provisions for health care and medical treatments.

The release will be conducted over several days, with a scheduled release of 50 hostages in the first four days and further releases of 10 abductees each day after that. For every Israeli abductee that is released, 3 Palestinian security prisoners will be released, and Israel has clarified that they will respond to any threats to their soldiers in Gaza territories.

The process, which has been designed to be as seamless as possible, includes the verification and identification of the abductees. Once the hostages arrive in Israel, they will be taken to hospitals to meet with their families and receive medical treatment.

While the plan is to continue the ceasefire and secure the safety of the hostages, Israel is prepared to respond to any violations or threats.
