- Super announcement released!
Each government has introduced and implemented various welfare schemes for its civil servants. No one can deny that there is no government if there are no civil servants. The role of public servants and officials in making government welfare schemes accessible to the poor and common people is immense.
In this context, the European country of Belgium has developed a new law for its civil servants. That is, the government has ordered that government employees not be called in other than during working hours.
According to the Right to Disconnect program, the Belgian government has ordered that government officials and employees not be harassed by calls other than during working hours. It has been announced that this order will come into effect from the 1st of February. At the same time it is advised that this scheme should not be misused by government employees.
Violators of this order will be fined. Petra de Sutter, the Belgian Minister of Civil Service, said he hoped the Belgian government would follow suit.
