Santo Domingo. The Minister of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs stated that the 1.2 billion dollars approved this Wednesday by the Chamber of Deputies will serve to continue investing in the needs of the population in terms of infrastructure of different types.
Ito Bisonó stressed that rather than criticizing the approval of economic resources through this legislative body, what is necessary is to see what the country’s shortcomings are and what are more urgent for these funds to be invested in said public works.
“Loans are good depending on what they are taken for and how they are taken, what you have to do is see what is needed and invest them in that, that represents improvements for the nation,” said Bisonó.
The official spoke about the issue when participating in an activity carried out by the Dominican Institute for Quality to present the “indocal quality award” to three public institutions. The activity was headed by the vice president of the republic, Raquel Peña.
