DIG/ The Façade Maritime du Champ Triomphal (FMCT), a subsidiary of the Gabonese Strategic Investment Fund (FGIS) dedicated to the urban development of the Gabonese territory, has just launched a call for projects for the marketing of plots identified within the Baie des Rois.

This call for projects, intended for public and private real estate developers, aims to continue the development of the new eco-district with a view to the construction of office or service buildings on plots N2a, N2b, C1a and C1b located respectively in its North and Center zones.

You must know that “ The Bay of Kings » extends over a total area of 40 hectares including 32 reclaimed from the sea thanks to landfill work, like major African urban development projects such as “Casa Marina” in Morocco or even “Eko Atlantic” in Nigeria.

Its real estate programming provides for mixed use with commercial spaces, accommodation spaces and recreational facilities.

It is composed more than 360,000 m² of buildings, including a residential space made up of 185 housing units, or 42,000 m²; 78,000 m² dedicated to shops; a 45,000 m² shopping center; 205,000 m² dedicated to offices and a hotel area of 20,000 m² and its conference center.

The FMCT is entirely owned by the Sovereign Fund of the Gabonese Republic (FSRG) whose exclusive agent is the FGIS.

To this end, the Baie des Rois economic model is based on a strategy focused mainly on the sale of land to cover infrastructure work.

This approach is manifested by the marketing of land plots, a key element which represents the source of income for the development of the project.

This orientation ensures stable and sustainable funding, essential to the completion and long-term success of this major project.
