The WHO indicated this Wednesday (November 22, 2023) that some surveillance groups reported different outbreaks of undiagnosed pneumonia in northern China. In this context, the WHO reported having requested clarification on the situation, with the memory of Covid-19 4 years ago still very present. The Chinese delegation to the WHO stated that it was “habitual” request information from member states on the increase in respiratory diseases.
