Further releases of Hamas hostages and Palestinian prisoners expected on Saturday, November 25. Qatar is to announce how many are to be released today. Israeli authorities announced that they had received the list of hostages concerned, but did not specify the number or the expected time of their release.The truce in fighting between Israel and Hamas came into effect on Friday November 24 at 7 a.m. local time (6 a.m. Paris time), and 24 hostages were released: thirteen Israelis, ten Thais and one Filipino. Among the Israeli hostages are four children, including one aged 2, and six women over 70 years old.Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister, said that he and his government were “determined to bring back all [les] hostages” in the hands of Hamas.
