A European directive currently being negotiated provides that all non-consensual sexual acts be classified as rape. But several member states, including France, are opposed to it. In a column in “Le Monde”, four European parliamentarians from the Socialists and Democrats group, Iratxe Garcia, Raphaël Glucksmann, Evin Incir and Pina Picierno, call on the French government to review its position.
