Elderly Woman Released After 49 Days in Hamas Captivity
After 49 days in captivity in the Gaza Strip, 85-year-old Yaffe Ader has been reunited with her family. Ader was kidnapped from her home in Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7th, and a document showing her alongside Hamas terrorists went viral on social media.
After fearing for her health and life for over a month, Ader was released as part of a kidnapping deal that was launched yesterday. Her arrival at the hospital was met with tears of joy as her grandchildren welcomed her with open arms.
In a Facebook post, Ader’s granddaughter, Adriana Eder, expressed gratitude for her grandmother’s safe return. She wrote, “She is here! A beautiful grandmother is here! Healthy, beautiful, panther! Thank you people of Israel! Thank you to everyone who was there, accompanied, supported. First drop In the sea, they are waiting for you Tamir Adar, they are waiting for everyone, now.”
Yaffe Ader’s grandson, Tamir Ader, remains in captivity, and his family continues to pray for his release. The family is hopeful that he will also be reunited with his loved ones soon.
