The one that could have happened between Davide Tardozzi, ‘team manager’ of the official Ducati team, and Jorge Martín in Valencia. The man from Madrid, upon leaving his box, encountered the boss of the main brand on his way and almost took him over in an action that has sparked great controversy. One to which Aleix Espargaró has joined.
The one from Aprilia, a good friend of Martín, is one of those who speaks clearly. And he has spoken again as he usually does to ask for a sanction for the leader of the transalpines for what he did with Martín.
“I didn’t like what some member of Ducati did. A few years ago in Moto3 something similar happened and the mechanics were expelled,” he says.
The incident he refers to was at the 2022 Aragon GP, when two Max Racing mechanics were involved in a maneuver that harmed Adrián Fernández. They received punishment.
In that sense, for Espargaró what happened between Bagnaia and Martín is nothing: “Pecco had the track free and didn’t do the fastest lap. Jorge just tried to make him nervous.”
The MotoGP World Championship is at stake in Valencia. Bagnaia has everything in his hand to win the title, but Martín is going to pursue all possible options.
