With the aim of guaranteeing the protection, order, health, well-being and safety of the population before, during and after the San Miguel carnival, Civil Protection announced a security plan for said event.
“Civil Protection will be in charge of general coordination. A call to attendees to take all precautions. We ask that you check your vehicles, drive safely, respect all road regulations and while at the event, respect all indications,” said PROCIVIL director, Luis Amaya.
For this plan, there will be the support of more than 2,500 collaborators from institutions such as the Fire Department, National Civil Police (PNC), Armed Forces, Vice Ministry of Transportation (VMT) and relief bodies.
The Departmental Civil Protection Commission of San Miguel will supervise that the established measures and all the operational logistics that are planned to be implemented are complied with.
