The average cost of electricity in the Estonian price zone of the Nord Pool electricity exchange in Estonia on Friday compared to Thursday will increase by 36.9% to 81.70 euros per megawatt-hour.

The highest – 121.41 euros per megawatt-hour – exchange price for electricity will be on Friday evening, from 17 to 18 hours, and the lowest it was from 4 to 5 hours, when it fell to 10.01 euros.

In Latvia and Lithuania, electricity will cost on Friday the same as in Estonia – 81.70 euros per megawatt-hour. In Finland, the cost of electricity will be 203.40 euros with a minus sign, while for 10 hours, from 15 to 1 am, the price will be -500 euros. The most expensive electricity on Friday will be in Holland – 84.72 euros per megawatt-hour.

In October, the average price in the Estonian Nord Pool price zone was 87.37 euros per megawatt-hour, which is 49.9% lower than in October 2022, when the average monthly price was 174.29 euros per megawatt-hour. Compared to September, the average exchange price fell by 23%.

The last daily price record dates back to August 17 last year, when the average price in Estonia reached 682.05 euros.
