Chinese Hackers Breach Dutch Chip Giant NXP Network
A group of Chinese hackers known as Chimera successfully infiltrated the network of NXP, the largest chip manufacturer in Europe, and had access to it for over two years. The breach, which occurred from the end of 2017 to the beginning of 2020, resulted in the theft of the company’s intellectual property, including chip designs.

The hack was only discovered because of a similar attack at the Dutch airline Transavia, a subsidiary of KLM.
