Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School on Code Red Lockdown After Stabbing Incident: 2 Students Injured, Suspect in Custody

Two students were stabbed at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School, prompting a Code Red lockdown on campus. The incident occurred earlier today, and as a result, the school will remain on lockdown until 2:20 p.m. as law enforcement investigates the situation.

According to police reports, both students who were stabbed have been taken to local hospitals for treatment. Additionally, a juvenile suspect has been taken into custody.

As a precautionary measure, the Code Red lockdown will continue until 2:20 p.m., after which students will be released as usual. Carpool students, however, will be transported to Walnut Creek Amphitheatre to be picked up.
