This new transport ticket can be purchased from the start of the year, on the future IDFM website dedicated to the Games.
How will the RATP and SNCF reorganize themselves to transport the 10 million spectators expected next summer for the Olympic Games? And this, while the additional transport offer, linked to this event should cost 200 million euros more, according to Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM). To finance the increase in the number of trains, as well as their greater frequency, IDFM will set up a “Paris 2024 pass” between July 20 and September 8, 2024. The latter, available from January for purchase on the future IDFM site dedicated to the Games, will cost 16 euros per day or 70 euros per week.
The price will then be decreasing: you will have to pay 30 euros for two days, 42 for three. This new transport ticket, which can be used unlimitedly for the duration of the chosen subscription, can be physical or downloadable to your mobile phone. “This Paris 2024 pass is designed to simplify the tourist experience as much as possible, but also to limit queues and allow agents to devote themselves to traveler information and flow management.», indicates Laurent Probst, general director of IDFM at Parisian.

Another announcement made Monday evening by IDFM: the price of a single metro or bus ticket will double during this period, to reach 4 euros. Way to dissuade tourists and visitors from choosing this title and forming long queues. The train or RER ticket will increase to 6 euros each and 48 euros in a book of 10. Day and week Navigos will not be sold.
