Ubisoft comments that a milestone in development has been achieved.
After completion 20 years since the release of Prince of Persia: The Sands of TimeUbisoft has offered an update about the remake they are working on.
The new project was first announced more than three years agobefore development was halted and restarted in 2022. However, the folks at Ubisoft Montreal appear to have reached a new internal milestone.
We don’t know what it is about, but we hope this means that the project is back on track and will get into our hands as soon as possible.
As you know, the passionate team at @UbisoftMTL is reimagining this legendary story, and we are glad to announce today that the project has passed an important internal milestone and development is progressing.

Until May of this year we did not know that this remake was in an “early phase” development, so who knows when we’ll be able to play it. However, it is good to know that things are on the right track and that this remake will not end up being canceled.
