Scientists are conducting several studies against corona infection in Scotland. As part of this, scientists from Victoria University of Wellington, in collaboration with the Scottish Department of Public Health, conducted a study entitled Pregnant women affected by corona.

In that study, a total of 4,950 pregnant women have been affected by corona infection since the implementation of the vaccination program in Scotland. It is noteworthy that 77 per cent of them have not been vaccinated. In addition, the infant mortality rate during pregnancy among pregnant women affected by corona infection has increased to 23 per thousand. Similarly, 17 percent of infected pregnant women gave birth prematurely. It has also been revealed that not all women diagnosed with such infections are vaccinated.

According to a scientist, this study of pregnant women revealed a number of post – corona effects. As a part of it, the infant mortality rate of vaccinated pregnant women has come down to 4 per thousand and the low birth rate to 8 per cent. This confirms the importance of vaccination during pregnancy.
