Santo Domingo.- The Senate of the Republic sent to committee the five loan projects approved last week in the Chamber of Deputies.
This is 992 million dollars agreed with the Japanese Agency for International Cooperation and the Central American banks for Economic Integration, and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The projects to be financed include:
Complementary Works Presa Montegrande: US$236,926,411
Energy Improvement and Efficiency: US$36,000,000
Coastal Management Project: US$70,000,000
Modernization of the Drinking Water Sector: US$250,000,000
Electric Sector Reform: US$400,000,000
These funds are allocated to key initiatives ranging from infrastructure to energy efficiency and sector reforms, seeking to promote development and improvement in strategic areas for the country.
The review in the Senate will be crucial to advance the implementation of these projects and their impact on the economy and the quality of life of the population.
